On friday, I went to school in my Grell cosplay. On friday, I wanted to celebrate a fun day with some friends I met at a convention who are attempting to put on a nearly impossible show. On friday, I went to school expecting a few strange looks, confused questions, rude comments, and maybe even a few laughs.

What I didn’t expect was that I would be attacked by someone that I had never even seen before.

What  a truly sad and despicable incident to happen to this poor kid.  Just because you’re dressing “different” shouldn’t mean that you get attacked.

I hope this kid pressed assault charges AND filed a lawsuit in small claims court for the price of the cosplay outfit.

Gods bless you my friend.  Be strong and don’t let this incident scare you into “being normal.”  You ARE normal, trust me.

I hate how doll is limited and can only be bought at one time only. Because of the pressure and market scalper, I buy it even there’s something is a bit put for me. Several months later and a new limited one come out and more perfect than before. If only I have ability to predict future, I don’t have to buy and sell doll continuously….

And that’s why they do it.  Because people will keep buying them because they’re limited.  Its a business, after all.

For a while now, I been having these thoughts of what would happen to my dolls if I suddenly pass away? The idea of my dolls boxed up and stacked somewhere in a dark storage or even left there forever sitting and just be covered in dust brakes my heart, so here I’m writing what you call a will, but I see it as a letter to who ever reads it to hopefully understand how much do I care for each one of my dolls, and I have decided for each of my dolls to go to each of my friends with in the hobby who have an emotional connection with my dolls when it comes to their backgrounds and characters….for anyone who reads it might find me crazy, I’m crazy, crazy about my dolls.

Not crazy but smart.  I talked to my SO about it, and he knows who gets what doll.  Nothing wrong with having a will for something so expensive and collectable.

I have 7 dolls and currently want more. But every time I think of the number of dolls that I have I feel guilty that I can’t give them all the attention and I can’t bear the thought of selling any one of them.

I’m sitting here by my living room window waiting on the body of my 7th doll!  Fuck the haters, they’re gonna hate.  Be happy and the dolls are patient, trust me.

I can’t find clothes I like to fit my boy,so I tried to look for patterns. The only pattern I like is from Dollmore. It was only $5..until the shipping fees. Now it’s over $30. Forget that. Then I looked for ways to draft a pattern, but I’m not a Mensa member and can’t do all the mathematical voodoo it takes to draft a pattern. My boy doll will never have clothes. Now I know why so many people only take nude pics of their dolls. smh

I seriously want an Ellis from mystic kids soooo much! I don’t even want his beautiful scale clothes, just his gorgeous faceup and a nice blonde wig for him. unfortunately, he is 360 dollars, I have no job, and worst of all I can’t find a good wig that would fit him!!

Do errands for pay, do chores for pay, babysit, sell things you no longer need on ebay or get a job.  Its possible to get him.  Good luck!

Nobody in this hobby understand how fortunate they are to live in a country that allows people to buy overseas through internet. You can say “that is what happen by living on a 3rd world country” but sadly, there is more than that. I’m sick of being afraid of the safe arrival of the new incoming dolly I bought before all of this shitty craziness. I hate my country so much. And EU people complains about import taxes… those are nothing comparing to what my country just did to all of us.

wow that sucks hardcore.  I wish you the best of luck, both in your country and in this hobby.

I’ve owned over 70 dolls since I joined the hobby in 2007, and I haven’t kept a single doll beyond 2 years, and even then that is very, very, very rare. I am constantly hassled for this, and I’m just done.

Why the fuck should it matter if I sell all my dolls on a regular basis? So, I’m fickle and I like to own a lot of dolls, but within short bursts of time.  I’m really tired of people giving me shit because I simply like to shuffle my doll collection around.

Really, why the hell are people so concerned about other’s doll collections anyways?  Why does it matter what I do, or how long I own something. At least I can promise that I love each and every single one of them during the time they are within my home, and I think that’s good enough!

I have a friend that does that too, and I know its only going to get sold later on down the line.  But for the brief moment that she has the doll, I’m happy for her.
